CARING FOR OUR ENVIRONMENT

Just because you are away from home doesn't mean you can't look after the environment. We at Lilleys Guesthouse believe in doing all that we can to minimise our impact on our fragile planet, by ways such as:

• Using "Green Energy" which means 100% of our electricity is sourced only from renewable energy sources such as wind and water, and the emissions released by our gas usage are offset by investment into renewable energy technologies


• Choosing food and drink supplies with consideration for reducing waste food and packaging


• Recycling all paper, bottles, suitable plastic etc to reduce landfill


• Using environmentally friendly cleaning agents where possible
• Changing regular lightbulbs for energy saving lightbulbs as they die
• Supporting the WWF Earth Hour initiative
